The Dholak is the most important percussion instrument, which is usually used in "Sout Ceremonies" Baluchestan. Dholak is kind of folk drum characterized by a cylindrical wooden shell which made of Mullbery wood covered with goat skin on both sides which fastened by ropes on the sides.
The sound is produced by hitting the skins with the left and right hand on the both sides and also it depends on the part of the head being hit.
